Stephane Rochet has been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of San Diego since January 2007. Prior to this, he was a strength coach at UCLA and Indiana University. Always looking for ways to enhance the performance of student-athletes, Rochet has been certified as an RKC for kettle bell training and by USA Weightlifting and CrossFit for Olympic weightlifting. Since then, Rochet has become a Head Trainer for CrossFit HQ. The philosophy of CrossFit has served Rochet very well in training the athletes at USD and the CrossFit influence can be seen from the weight room design to the workouts implemented with the student-athletes at USD. CrossFit also introduced Rochet to nutritional strategies for elite performance, including the supplementation of Omega-3 fatty acids for improved performance and health. Rochet's constant search for the ideal fish oil supplement in terms of cost and uncompromising quality led to his adoption of O3 from Original Nutritionals as a primary fish oil source after experimenting with many other products.
